By some miracle the predicted terrible weather missed EDGEAhead and the sun shone for another happy and enjoyable event.

EDGEAhead 2008 was in aid of the Sam Loveitt Appeal and over £2,700 has been raised from the race itself, donations and sponsorship. In addition, the Rag Committe of Harper Adams Students Union have made an extremely generous donation of £1,000!
Sam's family have been overwhelmed with everyone's kindness and generosity and would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all who have raised money for Sam and who helped with, took part in or supported EDGEAhead 2008 in any way. You've made a huge difference to Sam's future. Thanks everyone.
